the Alliance for Retired Americans, created in
January and launched in May 2001,
is a strong, new voice for retired workers and
their families. Our mission is to
protect the health and economic security of
seniors, reward work, strengthen
families and build thriving communities. In
just our first year, we are
over 2.5 million members strong—and still
growing.
